Policies and Procedures
At SPASOCIAL, we pride ourselves on offering the best care for our clients. Please make yourself aware of our company policies and procedures described below. Our policies have been designed to ensure you enjoy a truly enjoyable visit with us.
All SPASOCIAL therapists are Texas State licensed and trained at SPASOCIAL.
Please call us at 512.291.6413 to book all appointments. A credit card is required at the time of booking to hold all appointments. Currently, we do not accept appointments online and we are unable to book, change or cancel appointments online.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Cash, American Express and SPASOCIAL gift certificates. We do not accept personal checks.
Tips may be paid in cash or charged to your credit card. 18-22% is customary, however, the amount you leave is truly at your discretion.
We respectfully request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. When booking services at SPASOCIAL, your appointment is scheduled with a therapist, whose time is allocated exclusively for your scheduled treatment. If you are late for a scheduled appointment, our company policy offers you two options:
– You may opt to shorten your treatment
– You may prefer to reschedule your appointment at a more convenient time, however, a $25 cancellation charge will be incurred.
To preserve the tranquility of the spa, we respectfully request that mobile telephones be turned off when you enter the spa.
We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel an appointment with us. However, we do ask that you give us fair warning. You will be emailed or texted the day before to confirm your appointment. As a courtesy to our other clients and staff, it is company policy for all clients to give 24 hour notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a $25 charge for each of your scheduled treatments.
Unfortunately, skin care products,and spa treatments and gift cards are not refundable.
When you purchase a course of treatments, you will receive a discounted price. Because of this discounted price, the payment is to be made at the beginning of your course. Unfortunately, these courses are not refundable.
Let us help you pamper that special person. Gift vouchers for any treatment, package or spa products may be purchased at the front desk or over the phone with credit card. Gift vouchers are not refundable, however, they are transferable.
Robes and spa wraps are available for each client. For guests not wanting to participate in our robe service, please advise guests to wear comfortable clothing. Appropriate swim wear is required at all times in the co-ed pool and jacuzzi area. Spa wraps and/or appropriate swim wear may be worn in the steam room and sauna. Spa wraps are not allowed in the pool or jacuzzi.
Inappropriate and rude behavior does not belong at a SPASOCIAL. The team at SPASOCIAL are dedicated, professional technicians who reserve the right to terminate treatments and services if guests are excessively intoxicated or make inappropriate comments, suggestions or advances to any member of the team.
SPASOCIAL Minor Guest Policy
Skin and Body Treatments
SPASOCIAL accepts guests 14 years old and above for all full service skin and body treatments including facials, massage, body scrubs and wraps; and we require parental consent for minors under the age of 17 and require that they accompany the minor during the treatment. For guests under 14 years of age, reduced treatment time may be preformed.
SPASOCIAL Spa Parties and Nail Treatments
SPASOCIAL accepts well behaved guests 5 years old and above for all spa parties and nail services.
SPASOCIAL has specially trained staff for most medical conditions. Please contact SPASOCIAL in advance if any of your guests are pregnant or suffer from a serious medical condition.
Some treatments are not recommended for guests who have certain conditions. For your safety we require a doctor’s clearance before beginning treatment, particularly in the face of the following conditions:
• Cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure
• Swollen or painful lymph nodes
• Undiagnosed skin rash or thrombosis
• New injury of any kind
• Open sores
• Arthritis (osteo- or rheumatoid)
• Diabetes, particularly if the client is experiencing foot problems
• Blood Disorder and Disease
Policies and Procedures – Memberships
Payment of Membership Fees
All payments to SPASOCIAL are final and can be made by one of the following options:
Monthly Draft Payment: Under this option, a payment must accompany the application. Should Member select the Monthly Draft Payment option, Member agrees to pay the then-current monthly Membership Fee, plus applicable taxes, each month thereafter through automatic withdrawals from an account maintained by Member in a financial institution, pursuant to a debit authorization form signed by Member. For monthly Members, termination of your Membership is permissible only after the expiration of the 6 month minimum commitment and upon thirty (30) days written notice, either by certified mail, hand-delivery to the management of Spa Social, or by electronic means (i.e., email)
All memberships of SPASOCIAL are for a 6-month minimum term and payments are due in advance. Automatic drafts will not be cancelled without thirty (30) days written notice, either by certified mail, hand-delivery to the management of Spa Social, or by electronic means (i.e., email). No refunds will apply.
Any monthly payment received more than ten (10) days after the due date shall be subject to a late charge of ten percent (10%) of the amount due or Twenty Dollars ($20.00), whichever is greater.
Release and Waiver of Responsibility
The services rendered to me at SPASOCIAL LLC are elective cosmetic services that may be performed by a non-medical technician. It is the responsibility of the member to contact their physician directly with any questions about their personal skin or health. I hereby release SPASOCIAL LLC from any and all injuries, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, judgments, claims, and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, which I shall or may have, for, upon, or by reason of the performance or non-performance of the above indicated services.
The service(s) may require multiple treatments for positive results. The total number of treatments may vary between individuals. Some individuals may not respond to treatment.
This Agreement shall be binding upon, inure to the benefit of, and be enforceable by the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.
This Agreement, including the schedules, lists and other documents referred to in this Agreement which form a part of this Agreement, embody the entire agreement and understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter contained in this Agreement. There are no restrictions, promises, warranties, covenants or undertakings, other than those set forth or referred to in this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings between the parties with respect to each subject matter.
This Agreement, and all documents mentioned herein by reference, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
The parties agree to execute such further documents as may be necessary, proper or convenient, for the purpose of fully effectuating the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Suspension and Termination
I understand that non-payment of the Membership Fees is a violation of SPASOCIAL’s policies and procedures, and that in so doing, SPASOCIAL assumes no further liability to adhere to the terms of this Agreement and may suspend or terminate the membership at their discretion.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
As a Member, I understand that I am entitled to receive the monthly services, and that I am obligated to pay my dues and fees regardless of whether or not I receive the actual services. I agree to promptly update SPASOCIAL of any change in my contact information (including address, telephone number or email address) or change in credit information. I understand Maintenance services must be redeemed within each respective calendar month, and that Maintenance services are non-transferrable to other persons. I understand Maintenance services cannot be rolled over to the following month, and that my membership is not redeemable for points towards the Membership Program or for any monetary value.
Policies and Procedures – Spa Parties
Full Payment is due on the day of the scheduled event. To ensure a successful set up we recommend you book your event at least four weeks in advance. Each party includes a hostess, robes and slippers. Services are not interchangeable but custom parties are available upon request.
We require a minimum of 72 hour notice for all spa party reservations. All services changed or cancelled outside of the 72-hour notice window are subject to a $25 cancellation fee for each services reserved. Please be aware that the hostess is responsible for anyone in the party who cancels, no shows, or leaves without checking out.
SPASOCIAL has a minimum of 6 guests per party but custom party minimums and services are available but can not be guaranteed.
Method of Payment
SPASOCIAL accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard payments.
State Tax and Gratuities
Gratuity of 20% will be added to all spa party service packages.
Advance preparation for your party is dependent on size. You are more than welcome to bring in snacks, drinks and decor to set up for your party up to one hour in advance of your start time. SPASOCIAL can not guarantee access to your party area but will work with each individual group to accommodate each one as effectively as possible.
